Celeste of St Paul Hotel + Bar

Located in the heart of the Minnesota capital, the Celeste of St. Paul Hotel + Bar offers an intimate hotel experience in a 19th-century former arts conservatory. The hotel was restored to maintain the ambiance of the old building while modernizing for your comfort.

Historic Beaux-Arts building

The first guests to stay at the Celeste of St. Paul Hotel + Bar were invited by the hotel’s owner, Rebound Hospitality, to tour the historic Beaux-Arts building. The building is now a luxury hotel, which honors its former residents and its historic significance. It is possible to visit the convent that once operated on the premises. Sister Agnes Foley lived in the building in the 1960s. She lamented the lack of designer wallpaper in her time living on the property.

While the celeste of St Paul Hotel + Bar has only been open for a few months, it has already received positive press. Reporters were particularly impressed with the pre-opening sleepover for nuns. It also has a Chapel Suite and Group Confessional seating.

Charming Parlor Bar

Located in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, the Celeste of St Paul Hotel + Bar offers an intimate, stately experience with a modern twist. Once a convent and arts conservatory, this historic building has undergone a complete renovation to keep the old-world charm but also meet the needs of modern travelers.

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1884, this convent was the first fine arts school in Minnesota. At its peak, the school had more than a thousand students. Mother Celestine Howard oversaw fundraising efforts for the hotel, which is located in the historic building.

Close proximity to Xcel Energy Center

Whether you’re heading to a hockey game or a concert at the Xcel Energy Center, you’re going to want to stay in close proximity to the arena. The Xcel Energy Center is located in St. Paul, Minnesota, so staying in close proximity will help you get there on time. However, since parking at the Xcel can be crowded, booking ahead of time is essential. To avoid last-minute rush hour traffic, try a parking service like SpotHero, which allows you to reserve parking at Xcel Energy Center.

The Xcel Energy Center is a multipurpose venue that has hosted NHL games and high school and college sporting tournaments. It is also home to family shows, concerts, and other activities.

Charming design

Located in the heart of Minnesota’s capital, the Celeste of St Paul Hotel + Bar offers an intimate hotel experience in a former convent and arts conservatory. This historic property has been completely remodeled to maintain the charming design while modernizing it to meet modern guest needs.

The hotel has been around for just a few months and is already garnering favorable press coverage. The first night of the hotel’s grand opening included a visit by five nuns who welcomed the guests. Room rates range from $139 to $700, with the majority of rooms priced in the $160 to $240 range. The hotel’s bar is already a popular hangout, with regular hours of operation. The hotel was renovated and purchased for $3.675 million by Rebound, which plans to own it for a long time.
