Universal Studios Hollywood Rides

Universal Studios Hollywood is a massive theme park with over 400 acres of land. The park consists of two levels separated by long escalators. Parents are advised to remove their kids from strollers before riding the escalators. There are elevators for those in motorized vehicles and wheelchairs but it is still necessary to walk, especially with small children.

Jurassic Park-The Ride

Jurassic Park-The Ride is a water-based amusement ride based on the Steven Spielberg film Jurassic Park. The ride is also available at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure and at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan. It features the characters and scenery from the movie and the original novel by Michael Crichton.

After a brief introduction, guests will board the water-raft-based ride. The raft ride starts with an elevation, then descends through a rapid and enters the Jurassic Park Gate. The Japanese version of the ride mirrors the Orlando version, though the rafts face the gate in opposite directions.

Transformers: The Ride-3D

Transformers: The Ride-3D at Universal’s Hollywood theme park is a great family attraction. This attraction allows families to experience the story of the transformers on a unique ride. The ride features the original Transformers characters – Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and more! The film is stunning, and the ride’s sound system is fantastic. The ride itself is a smooth, fluid experience, thanks to the incredible engineering feat that went into creating the attraction.

This popular attraction was the first of its kind at an American theme park. It was developed by Universal Parks & Resorts in collaboration with Hasbro, Inc., and is the first ride based on the franchise. The Transformers: The Ride-3D features a combination of 3D and virtual reality technology, and features spectacular special effects.

Fast and Furious-Supercharged

Fast & Furious-Supercharged rides at Universal’s Hollywood theme park are a homage to the film franchise. Although originally planned to be located at Universal Studios Beijing, the attraction has since been cancelled and moved to Universal Studios Hollywood. The rides feature Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyreee Gibson, and other stars from the film franchise.

The Fast & Furious-Supercharged ride is a hydraulic motion-based thrill ride that tells the story of the original Fast and Furious films. The experience combines sophisticated special effects with a state-of-the-art 3D audio system to create a breathtaking experience. The ride spans 400 feet and is housed in a newly built 65,000 square-foot structure. It features a new projection system, 34 4K projectors, and a highly detailed video and audio system.

King Kong 360 3D

The King Kong 360 3-D ride at Universal Studios Hollywood is a drive-through attraction with hyper-realistic visuals and synchronized motion platforms. The attraction is a part of the Universal Studio Tour. Younger children may find the ride frightening, so parents should warn them beforehand. The ride is not rated for children under four years old, and it is recommended for people over the age of six.

The King Kong attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood has a long history. Before it was replaced by the King Kong 360 3-D ride, the attraction was known as the King Kong Encounter. It operated for 22 years, until a fire destroyed the exterior walls. Officials from Universal decided not to rebuild it, and instead replace it with a more contemporary ride. Eventually, Universal Studios decided to bring back the experience in 3D.
